Softwood sawmill
The challenges in the production of softwood sawmills are characterised, among other things, by high time pressure and many repetitive work steps. Removing the sawn timber, stacking, restacking and picking logs and construction timber are repetitive tasks that often place a great deal of physical strain on employees under high time pressure. The Balz vacuum sorting robot is designed for handling different and changing cut products. Adapted to the respective operational challenges, it can take on the tasks fully automatically or be used flexibly by the employee depending on the production process.
